Hulu has committed to a second season of the crime thriller "Furious," thanks to its well-received reception. The series, created by Elizabeth Meriwether and starring Emmy Rossum and Lola Petticrew, has been praised for its unique blend of traditional crime show elements with a fresh perspective on violence against women. The show's narrative weaves a deadly chain reaction caused by such violence, resulting in numerous male casualties.

Meriwether, known for her role in "New Girl," has been lauded for her transition into the dark and gritty genre. The A.V.
