FRSC redeploys five assistant corps marshals, eight others

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has repositioned 13 senior officers in various commands and departments. The FRSC's Public Education Officer stated that the move is aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, institutional capacity, and service delivery. The redeployment, approved by Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed, impacts senior management and operational positions.

Among those affected are five Assistant Corps Marshals. These officers, including ACM GO Omiko, PhD, formerly ACM Special Duties and External Relations, and ACM EF Akinlade, MInstTA, formerly ACM Research, will take on new roles. The Corps Marshal described the redeployment as a standard practice for a dynamic organization committed to continuous improvement.

He emphasized the importance of strategic deployment to build a responsive, agile, and performance-driven road safety institution. The FRSC highlighted that the move underscores its commitment to professionalism, accountability, operational discipline, and effective leadership. The affected officers are directed to report to their new commands and assume duty immediately, ensuring a smooth transition.

The Corps Marshal urged the redeployed officers to view their new assignments as opportunities to contribute significantly to the Corps' mission of reducing road traffic crashes and enhancing road safety in Nigeria.
