'Disappointed' Bannigan steps down as Monaghan boss

Gabriel Bannigan has resigned as Monaghan manager after a two-year tenure. Bannigan initially joined Monaghan as part of Vinny Corey's management team in 2022 and took over as boss in 2024. During his time with the team, Monaghan won the Division Two title in 2025 and advanced to the All-Ireland quarter-finals twice, losing to Donegal and Louth.
