The Canadian businessman, known for his appearances on Shark Tank, explained that he's always on the lookout for great deals, even when his wealth affords him no need to save. O’Leary's wife had sent him to Walmart to buy essentials, including batteries, butter, paper towels, and laundry spray OxiClean.

While on the store run, O’Leary found an opportunity to save more: he opted for Bounty paper towels, choosing the 12-roll pack at 18 individual rolls' price. Reflecting on his frugal habits, O’Leary expressed his dislike for wasting money and his belief that unnecessary spending is a hindrance to achieving financial success. He is not alone in his thrifty ways; billionaires like Warren Buffett and Ikea's Ingvar Kamprad have also embraced frugality, even as their fortunes have grown.
