Deepinder Goyal’s Temple Acquires London-Based Longevous

Temple, a wearable startup co-founded by Deepinder Goyal, has acquired a London-based longevity medicine practice called Longevous. The acquisition strengthens Temple's clinical and scientific teams as they prepare to launch their first product. Longevous founders Robert Mohr and Avi Roy, along with their team, will join Temple on a full-time basis, according to Goyal's announcement on X.

Mohr, who will take on the role of Chief Medical Officer at Temple, brings nearly two decades of clinical experience spanning emergency medicine, preventive medicine, and precision medicine. He previously worked in various capacities at Temple, where he oversaw the clinical rigor of the startup's experiments and health-related claims.

Avi Roy, an Oxford-trained biomedical scientist and co-founder of Founders Health and UDA, will become Temple's Head of Science. Roy has also worked as a research fellow at the University of Oxford's Centre for the Advancement of Sustainable Medical Innovation.

Temple and Longevous have been collaborating over the past few months to test Temple's Entropy metric and assess the data collected by their wearable devices. They also reviewed the startup's first scientific manuscripts before their submission. Following the acquisition, Longevous will continue its operations independently, with Mohr and Roy continuing to serve its clients.
