Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.60%

Colombia's stock market saw a decline on Thursday, with the Colombian Financial Exchange's (BVC) COLCAP index dropping 0.60%. Financials, Investment, and Public Services sectors were the main contributors to the downward trend. The best-performing stocks of the day were Etb, which gained 5.88% to close at 90.00, Grupo Argos SA, up 4.60% to 20,920.00, and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia, up 2.31% to 15,920.00.

Conversely, Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA experienced a 2.43% decline, Mineros SA fell 1.61% and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana dropped 1.48%. Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the exchange by 0 to 0. Coffee futures for December delivery were down 3.34% to $311.40, while US cocoa for December rose 6.89% to $6,233.00.

Gold Futures for December increased by 0.03% to $4,654.80 per troy ounce. USD/COP was down 0.08% to 3,162.30, and BRL/COP fell 0.08% to 612.58. The US Dollar Index Futures remained unchanged at 99.09.
