CM Punjab Orders Installation of Fire Safety Equipment in All Hospitals

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has mandated the installation of fire safety systems in every government hospital within the region. Deputy Commissioner Nadeem Nasir collected thorough reports from hospitals regarding their current fire safety setups. He emphasized that ensuring fire safety systems would be done at all costs, and work had already commenced on installing fire hydrants at medical facilities.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Abdul Rehman, accompanied by Rescue officials, toured numerous government hospitals to evaluate their fire safety measures. These inspectors examined the presence and operation of fire alarms, hydrants, and emergency exits. Nadeem Nasir highlighted patient and staff safety as the administration's utmost priority and warned that negligence would not be accepted.

He instructed relevant officials to promptly address any fire safety inadequacies and complete all essential measures to guarantee effective emergency readiness at government hospitals.
