Charge me to court, VeryDarkMan challenges police over checkpoint kidnapping claims

Social media activist VeryDarkMan has challenged Nigerian police over his allegation that security personnel aid kidnapping and banditry in the country. The activist, Martins Otse, reacted to the Nigeria Police Force's invitation to provide evidence backing his claim, stating he would not submit the evidence to the police but would prefer to present it in court.

Otse, supported by his lawyers, challenged the police to charge him to court if they believed he had committed an offence. Otse maintained that security agencies, including the police, military, immigration, and customs, were aware of the insecurity issues in the country and that they were the ones benefiting from it. He criticized the government's expenditure on security and accused Nigerians of defending security agencies despite their criticism over insecurity.

Otse also accused politicians of using cattle to launder money, claiming that Fulani herders were victims of political manipulation. He reiterated his readiness to face the police in court and urged them to proceed against him for his allegations.
