Captain (Retd) Muhammad Shehryar Khan Becomes SSP Security for Islamabad

Retired Captain Sardar Muhammad Shehryar Khan has taken up the position of SSP Security/Administration for the Islamabad Capital Territory Police, according to Associated Press of Pakistan. Following his appointment, Shehryar Khan met with SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza to discuss security measures, public safety, and patrolling in the capital city.

The two officers examined ways to enhance security, improve collaboration between operational and security units, and enhance effective field deployment for better protection of citizens. This meeting is part of a recent series of changes in the Islamabad Police's senior command. Just the day before, Shehzada Umar Abbas had assumed charge as SSP Safe City Operations.

Officials anticipate that these recent appointments will lead to improved coordination between the Security, Operations, and Safe City formations, integrating field policing with technology-based monitoring.
