Bob Myers, a former Golden State Warriors player, shared his insights on LeBron James' decision to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers. Myers emphasized that James' choice was undoubtedly the most challenging path he has ever taken. Throughout his career, James has consistently made smart decisions when joining teams, such as joining the Miami Heat in 2010, leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to an NBA championship in 2016, and finally signing with the Lakers in 2018.

However, joining Philadelphia was a no-brainer for James as it meant joining up with star players again, giving them a better chance to compete for the title. Myers believes that LeBron chose the hardest path, not because he played for the Cavaliers before or grew up there, but because he wanted to win and play with his friend, Jaylen Brown.
