BEVCO clocks liquor sales of ₹771.29 crore during 8-day Onam period

The Kerala State Beverages Corporation (KSBC), also known as BEVCO, reported liquor sales of ₹771.29 crore during the eight-day period leading up to Onam, which concluded on August 25. This represents an increase from the previous year's sales of ₹694.9 crore, according to KSBC MD Yogesh Gupta speaking to The Hindu. BEVCO had previously set an all-time high of ₹970.74 crore in liquor sales from its outlets across Kerala during the 12-day Onam season the previous year.

BEVCO stores were shut on August 26, which was the Onam day. Consumerfed, another entity operating liquor outlets in the State, has not yet released its sales data for comparison.
