Bah Nepal: 2 pegawai bomba antara rakyat Malaysia masih gagal dihubungi

Ketua Pengarah Bomba Nor Hisham Mohammad revealed that two Malaysian bomb squad officers remain uncontactable following a sudden heavy rainstorm in Rasuwa, Nepal yesterday evening. The officers, identified as Mohd Sani Harul, Deputy Officer-in-Charge of the Design and Research Division at the Bomb Squad Headquarters, and Mohd Fakhrul Munir Mohd Isa, a Bomb Squad Academy Officer from Central Region, were part of a group of 10 Malaysians embarking on a journey to Everest Base Camp (EBC).

They were not climbers, but rather tracking and using paths, following the route through Tibet. Nor Hisham provided this information to Bernama. Earlier, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim stated that the government is working to locate 54 Malaysian nationals who have not been reachable since the sudden heavy rainstorm that hit Rasuwa district, which was caused by heavy rainfall and glacier collapse along the Bhote Koshi River, disrupting communication and cutting off the main road leading to Kathmandu.
