2027: FG agency heads begin mobilisation for Tinubu’s re-election

Top officials from various Federal Government agencies, departments, and parastatals have begun a coordinated effort to support the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections. This mobilization was announced at the inaugural meeting of the Forum of PBAT CEOs, held in Abuja on Thursday. The forum represents agency heads such as the Registrar of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, Dr Ronke Soyombo, and the Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation, Dr Kayode Opeifa.

The forum, under the leadership of the Director-General/CEO of the National Board for Technology Incubation, Dr Kazeem Raji, aims to promote continuity of reforms and programmes initiated by the Tinubu administration. Raji emphasized the importance of agency heads in translating government policies into tangible impacts for citizens. The group called for enhancing unity among presidential appointees, fostering inter-agency collaboration, and avoiding duplication of efforts.

Raji urged agency heads to actively participate in the political process within the law and to communicate the achievements of their respective institutions to Nigerians. The forum's objectives include strengthening collective leadership, coordination, policy support, and mobilization to ensure the success and consolidation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
