Two clandestine groups in Taman Alam Megah, Shah Alam clashed over business territory last Tuesday, resulting in one death. Police Chief Shazeli Kahar said 11 local men aged 20 to 30 were detained to assist the investigation under Section 302 of the Criminal Offences Act due to murder. All suspects are believed to be members of the two local clandestine groups operating in the area.

Out of 11 arrests, five suspects have been granted seven-day remand, while the rest are being brought to court for bail applications today. Initial investigation found this dispute stemmed from territorial business disputes between the two involved groups, one of which is believed to have recently been formed, according to media briefing at IPK Selangor.

He said three injured individuals are still being treated in the hospital and police are monitoring some suspects who are still at large after their identities were confirmed. Yesterday, media reported one death and one more man arrested after a group of men quarreled in Taman Alam Megah, which also involved the incident of a car blocking one suspect leading to the death.

Shah Alam Police Chief Sarudin Samah reportedly said a blue Perodua Alza car collided with one suspect, causing the death. The death of a school teacher in Hulu Selangor was confirmed earlier this month, despite no strong evidence linking work pressure to her death. Details were gathered from various parties, including family members, colleagues, and students who found the woman in good condition.

The teacher, who had recently transferred to the school a few months ago, despite having several years of experience in education, was classified as a sudden death and the investigation is ongoing before the case file is submitted to the deputy prosecutor. Previously, media reported a school teacher found unconscious at a school in Hulu Selangor on July 31 before being pronounced dead while being treated in the hospital.
