Xbox and IKEA Furniture Collaboration Includes Thumbstick Stools, Tables, and D-Pad Accessories

<YXSTABY> IKEA has unveiled a new range of official Xbox furniture, including gaming chairs, display stands, and D-pad cushions, priced for the U.K. market since October through their website and in-store. Named YXSTABY, this nine-piece collection aims to move gaming furniture from teen bedrooms and man caves into mainstream living rooms.

The collection features functional furniture, like controller display boxes, castor-based TV stands, and side tables for accessory storage, as well as more unique items, such as green and black gaming thumbstick stools that mimic the controller's design, and tilt-adjusting D-pad cushions. Xbox's Head of Design, Carl Ledbetter, emphasized that hardware isn't the only aspect of the gaming experience, but the environment around it is equally important.

The YXSTABY range is currently on display at Xbox's Gamescom booth and will be available for purchase soon, including the gaming chair for £89, thumbstick stools (£35 each), TV stands (£99), side tables (£115), controller display boxes (£15), laptop support (£19), monitor stand (£25), D-pad cushion (£12), and D-pad platter (£12).
