Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has requested to appear before the Congress Plenary Session to provide an update on the government's handling of the Ceuta situation, shortly after Minister Ángel Víctor Torres announced their intention to register the request. Torres also backed Fernando Grande-Marlaska's account of the CNI warnings, stating that he, too, did not receive any communications this summer regarding the severity of the crisis.

The leader of the People's Party (PP), Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has called for the Special Commission of Secrets to be convened so the CNI can clarify the "versions" of the government, in response to the "discrepancy" between Defense Minister Margarita Robles and Marlaska, and reproached the executive for someone lying. Additionally, on Wednesday, Minister of Inclusion, Social Security, and Migrations Elma Saiz will return to Ceuta to oversee the expansion of temporary accommodation resources, where over a thousand people who were previously camping on El Trampolín beach have already been relocated.
