Trump: If Ayatollah is dead, Iran 'putting on a good show'

Trump stated that Khamenei was "very seriously wounded" in the attack, but does not believe he is dead.

If Khamenei is not alive, Trump suggested that Iran is "putting on a very good show." Khamenei has been absent from public life for six months amid the ongoing US-Iran war, fueling speculation about his condition. Iran's Fars news agency released a video of Khamenei in a rare appearance, though the authenticity of the video could not be independently verified.

Reports of Khamenei's hospitalization and imminent death surfaced recently, as well as his absence from his father's funeral. Trump praised the US military operations against Iran and claimed that economic pressure was working towards a "big victory." He also insisted that the Strait of Hormuz, where Iran has disrupted shipping, is fully open. Iran and Oman are reportedly still working on an agreement regarding the Strait.
