Speaker of Jordanian Parliament meets Ambassador of Qatar

Mazen Qadi, Speaker of Jordan's House of Representatives, convened a meeting with Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al-Thani, Qatar's Ambassador to Jordan. During their discussion, they explored the strength of bilateral ties between the two nations, emphasizing their long-standing friendship and shared history. Qadi expressed the Jordanian House's dedication to fostering parliamentary relations with Qatar's Shura Council, aiming to bolster communication, consultation, and the sharing of knowledge on matters of mutual concern.

In response, Ambassador Al-Thani vowed to bolster bilateral relations and parliamentary cooperation, acknowledging the House of Representatives' significant role in regional and international parliamentary arenas. The meeting also included the First Deputy Speaker of the Jordanian House, Dr. Khamis Atieh, and Abdulrauf Rbiehat, the Chair of the Jordanian-Qatari Parliamentary Brotherhood Committee.
