Saraki Urges PDP Members to Close Ranks, Says Unity Key to 2027 Victory in Kwara

Former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has called on members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State to foster unity and work together towards securing victory in the 2027 elections. The call came during a gathering of party supporters at his residence in Ilorin on Wednesday, where Saraki was warmly welcomed by a large crowd of enthusiastic PDP members.

Expressing gratitude to the people of Kwara State, Saraki praised their unwavering faith in his leadership and dedication to the state's progress. He acknowledged the sacrifices, maturity, and commitment demonstrated by party members and aspirants, particularly those who supported the party's candidates despite the internal party processes.

Saraki further commended party members for their accommodating attitude towards former All Progressives Congress (APC) members who have recently joined the PDP. He emphasized that the party's strength lies in its ability to unite members, reconcile differences, and work collectively towards a common goal.

Several National Assembly candidates who attended the event also addressed the gathering, expressing their appreciation to the party leadership and members for their support and confidence.
