Sandeep Reddy Vanga confirms Spirit release date; shares update on new Arjun Reddy version

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has confirmed that the release date for his upcoming film Spirit, starring Prabhas, is set for March 5, 2027. Speaking at the trailer launch of Romanchakam, Vanga shared that the film, which began shooting on March 5, 2026, is on track for its confirmed release date. He noted that the production team has completed a 40-day schedule with another 65 days of filming still to go.

Vanga assured that the film will be completed on time, despite Prabhas' other commitments, including the December 2026 release of Fauzi. In addition to Spirit, Vanga revealed that he and Vijay Deverakonda are working on a special extended version of Arjun Reddy to celebrate the film's 10th anniversary in August 2027. The original Arjun Reddy, released on August 25, 2017, helped propel both Vanga and Deverakonda to national fame.
