Post Malone’s Beloved ‘August 26th’ Mixtape Available on Streaming For First Time

Post Malone is celebrating a significant milestone in his music career as his August 26th mixtape is now available on streaming platforms and vinyl for the first time. The rapper's debut full-length album and major label release, initially launched on May 12, 2016 through Republic Records, includes a remastered version of his mixtape which was originally set to drop in December 2016 but was delayed due to multiple setbacks.

The mixtape, which features collaborations with notable artists such as 2 Chainz, Lil Yachty, Jaden Smith, and Jeremih, was preceded by the self-released 2014 mixtape Y.A.T.R. The mixtape's title originally signified the intended release date for Post Malone's debut album, Stoney, which Malone had to push back to December 2016. The album was a critical success, featuring contributions from Justin Bieber, Quavo, and Kehlani, and was produced by industry heavyweights Metro Boomin, Mustard, and Pharrell, among others.

Malone, now 31, recently announced his engagement to on-and-off girlfriend Christy Lee, with the proposal taking place in Utah. The couple, who had a history of on-and-off relationships, were reportedly engaged in early 2025 after being spotted together in Rome and Paris. However, their relationship reportedly ended in June 2025 before being rekindled in February of the current year. The August 26th mixtape can be listened to below.
