Police nab one suspect after man dies in Shah Alam brawl

SHAH ALAM — Police have apprehended an individual in connection with a recent altercation in Taman Alam Megah, where a man tragically lost his life. District Police Chief ACP Sarudin Samah revealed that the suspect was apprehended based on tips from the public regarding a brawl involving multiple men. CCTV footage analysis disclosed a confrontation in which several men were involved in a physical altercation, with some resorting to slashing motions.

A blue multi-purpose vehicle was also captured striking one of the combatants, resulting in his fatal injury at the site of the incident.

Prior to the apprehension, a one-minute video circulating on social media captured a group of individuals engaged in a street fight before one of them was struck by a vehicle. Sarudin emphasized the initiation of an investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code and appealed to the public for any relevant information. He directed inquiries to ASP Shamsiah Noor Zakaria or the nearest police station. Sarudin also cautioned against speculative remarks about the incident.
