PM of Libya's Government of National Unity Meets Minister of State at Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On a recent meeting in Tripoli, Abdul Hamid Mohammed Dbeibeh, the Prime Minister of Libya's Government of National Unity, engaged in discussions with Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh al-Khulaifi, the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The two leaders discussed the potential for enhancing bilateral relations, exploring avenues to strengthen their cooperation, and addressing the current regional situation. They also delved into matters of mutual interest.

Dr al-Khulaifi emphasized Qatar's unwavering support for Libya's unity and stability, underscoring the importance of backing the political process and peaceful solutions that cater to the aspirations of the Libyan people. He stressed the necessity of preserving Libya's sovereignty and preserving the nation's integrity. Additionally, Dr al-Khulaifi highlighted the significance of ongoing dialogue and the promotion of mediation and national reconciliation efforts, with the aim of fostering consensus among Libyans and creating an environment conducive to stability.

He reiterated Qatar's commitment to engaging with various Libyan parties and leaders, supporting United Nations efforts in pursuit of a comprehensive and sustainable political resolution.
