Oosterwolde undergoing second Roma medical amid injury concerns

Jayden Oosterwolde is undergoing a second stage of his medical examination with Roma, amid growing concerns about the injury he suffered during a recent Champions League qualifier. The Dutchman has not yet completed his medical, as Roma and Fenerbahce have agreed to a season-long loan deal with a potential €18m buy-out clause. The 25-year-old arrived in Italy on Tuesday for his medical, which is being conducted in two parts.

The first part, completed on Tuesday, was routine and focused on Oosterwolde's general physical health. However, the second part, scheduled for Wednesday, will involve a detailed examination of the muscular injury he sustained against Sturm Graz in Fenerbahce's 2-0 victory on August 5. Despite returning to training following the injury, sources claim Oosterwolde will still be out for several more weeks.

Additionally, Roma are reportedly concerned the player may experience a relapse, and there remains a possibility they could ultimately decide against proceeding with the transfer.
