Speaking in an interview with conservative radio host Glenn Beck, Trump stated that he does not believe Khamenei has been killed, but described his wounds as significant. The injuries, affecting Khamenei's left side including his arm and leg, have led to questions about the supreme leader's ability to govern.

Khamenei took over after his father's death from US-Israeli strikes in February and has not been seen in public since becoming supreme leader. Iran officially recognizes him as supreme leader, but his prolonged absence has fueled speculation about his health and power. Despite the uncertainty surrounding Khamenei's condition, Iran continues to assert his leadership.

Meanwhile, Trump claimed his administration's pressure on Iran was yielding positive results, predicting a major victory soon. However, the US has not achieved its goal of reopening the Strait of Hormuz or forcing Iran to abandon its nuclear program.
