Nordic Aqua Q2 2026 slides: record harvest, China growth accelerate

Nordic Aqua Partners revealed its second quarter 2026 report on August 26, highlighting significant accomplishments while the land-based salmon enterprise continues its journey toward profitability. The company's harvest in the quarter was a record 1,362 tonnes, exceeding the 1,000-tonne mark with an average weight of over 4 kg for the first time in a single quarter, according to Kontali.

Chinese market saw a 25% increase in Atlantic salmon imports year-over-year, reaching 40,900 tonnes. Strategic positioning near Shanghai has allowed Nordic Aqua to capture premium pricing, with superior-grade large fish commanding a 21% premium over benchmark Norwegian export prices.
