Myles Garrett Ranking Should Get the Rams Pumped
It's time to get pumped for the Los Angeles Rams.
The Los Angeles Rams have plenty to look forward to in the upcoming season, with one key factor potentially amplifying their enthusiasm. Fox Sports has named Myles Garrett as the best player in the NFL, placing the Cleveland Browns' defensive star at the top of the list. This significant acknowledgment is well-deserved, as Garrett has demonstrated why he belongs at the pinnacle of the rankings.
Last season, Garrett earned unanimous Defensive Player of the Year honors after setting the NFL single-season record with an impressive 23 sacks. With the Rams, he now joins a formidable defensive lineup. Currently, the Rams' opponents are throwing the ball 102 more times than their own opponents, providing Garrett with ample opportunities to showcase his skills and potentially break his own record.
If Garrett achieves a 25-sack season and helps the Rams secure the NFC West title, he could have a legitimate case for becoming the first NFL MVP who isn't a quarterback or offensive player—a truly remarkable accomplishment.
