Her Excellency Minister of State for International Cooperation Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met on Wednesday with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to the State of Qatar Alvaro Renedo...
On Tuesday, August 25, French Ambassador to Ukraine Brice Roquefeuil met with Semen Kryvonos, Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), and his deputy Vadym Lisnychuk. The ambassador underscored the significance of NABU's work and the independence of its staff, especially amidst the Fundamentals cluster in EU accession negotiations.
The French Embassy in Ukraine shared this information on their Facebook page on Wednesday, but did not provide further details about the meeting's other topics of discussion. France has been supporting NABU through the mAIDAn mechanism since 2024 under the Expertise France in Ukraine initiative. This assistance covers three key areas: enhancing NABU's operational, investigative, and analytical capabilities; aiding Ukraine's journey towards joining the OECD Convention on Combating Corruption; and delivering emergency response equipment to NABU's regional offices.
