Man City to make offer for £120m-rated Fernandez

Manchester City are on the verge of making an offer for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, valued at £120m. The Argentine player, currently 25 years old, has been identified by City manager Enzo Maresca as a key target to strengthen the club's midfield following several high-profile transfers out of the Premier League. Despite Chelsea being aware of City's interest and setting an unofficial deadline at a minimum fee of £120m, the transfer window has passed without completing the deal.

However, Man City are expected to make another attempt before the upcoming transfer deadline next week. Fernandez's potential move to the Premier League would make him one of the most expensive signings in the league's history, surpassing Liverpool's record £125m for Alexander Isak last summer.
