Let’s Give Bawumia United Party To Win 2028 Election – Afoko

Paul Afoko, a former New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman, has urged party supporters to remain united and disciplined in order to help Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia win the 2028 general election. According to Afoko, the NPP has already selected Bawumia as their flagbearer, and now the focus should be on providing him with a strong, disciplined team capable of carrying his message to every community in Ghana and securing the confidence of the Ghanaian people.

As a prospective National Chairman, Afoko pledged to work tirelessly alongside Bawumia to return the NPP to government in 2028. He emphasized that the flagbearer and the chairman must cooperate and support each other, rather than competing against one another. Afoko acknowledged that internal contests had caused divisions and strained relationships among party members, but stressed that there can only be one NPP, regardless of individual preferences.

He also assured his fellow contestants that if elected, he would not use his position to settle personal scores or reward one faction over another. Afoko called upon his fellow contestants to view the election as an internal democratic process, rather than a battle between political adversaries, and urged them to remain as brothers and fellow Patriots.
