Jaye P. Morgan, a versatile entertainer of the 1950s known for her pop and TV career, has passed away at the age of 94. Born as Mary Margaret Morgan in Mancos, Colorado, she began her show business journey at just three years old as part of a vaudeville act. After her father's death in 1945, Morgan pursued a singing career, signing with Frank De Vol's orchestra and releasing her first singles in 1950.

She achieved chart success with hits like "That's All I Want From You" and "The Longest Walk," earning her a spot on DownBeat magazine's annual DJ poll in 1954. Morgan's career extended beyond music, as she became a frequent guest on talk shows and game shows, most notably appearing on "The Gong Show" in 1976, where her bold antics became iconic. She died in Longview, Washington, on Monday from natural causes, surrounded by her family.
