This high level of adoption is supported by the optimism of two-thirds of people in the region about AI, providing a strategic advantage in implementing AI technologies.

AI is expected to contribute up to $6 trillion to global GDP over the next decade, highlighting the importance of creating an enabling environment for capturing these gains. Issues such as copyright rules and patent systems play a crucial role in realizing the promise of AI. Google, being a leading player in AI with the largest AI patent portfolio, emphasizes the need to evaluate claim quality and ensure the patent system supports AI development.
