Gemini Live gets productivity upgrade with Spark, Gmail, and other integrations

Google has significantly upgraded the Gemini Live experience by integrating various productivity tools, including Spark, Gmail, Daily Brief, and Memory. With Spark integration (available for AI Pro and above users), Gemini Live allows users to issue natural voice commands to manage complex, multi-step tasks across web platforms, Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets, just like the dedicated Gmail Live experience.

Users can also use Gemini Live to receive daily brief summaries of their to-do lists for the day and tap into past chats and Personal Intelligence to retrieve information relevant to queries like asking about a restaurant visited during a New York trip last summer or retrieving a recipe discussed the previous day. Google emphasizes that Gemini Live eliminates the need for users to understand which integration to use, as it seamlessly connects tasks across the day in a single, continuous conversation.
