France reaches 94.9% fiber coverage in 2026

By December 31, 2025, France reached an impressive 94.9% fiber coverage in its telecom networks. This extensive coverage was achieved through the diligent efforts of telecommunications operators, who reported their deployment data to the Autorité and provided insights into their FttH (Fiber to the Home) networks. The Arcep, the French telecom regulator, compiled and analyzed these data using INSEE's geographical codes, resulting in a detailed map of fiber deployments at both the commune and technical scale.

This comprehensive map aims to enhance public and professional understanding of France's high and ultra-high-speed internet infrastructure.
