Former Kansas City Chiefs RB visits NFC contender in free agency

As the NFL regular season approaches, roster changes continue throughout the league. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, former Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt has been visiting the Detroit Lions. Hunt, a third-round Chiefs draft pick in 2017, has accumulated 5,775 rushing yards and 55 touchdowns in his career. Last season, he averaged 3.7 yards per attempt, and in crucial short-yardage situations, he converted 34 out of 40 attempts into first downs.

Detroit also signed former Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco this offseason, potentially reuniting Hunt with a familiar teammate from Kansas City. Hunt and Pacheco led the team in rushing the previous season, with Hunt tallying 611 yards and Pacheco contributing 462 yards. While the Chiefs have significantly altered their running backs roster, fans continue to cherish their past players.
