Dylan Smith replaced Spencer Bivens, and Suarez hit the grand slam off Smith (0-5), cutting the Giants' lead to 9-8. Additional runs came from Dane Myers and Matt McLain, who reached on bunt singles, and Jose Trevino's sacrifice fly, which brought the tying run in. Tyler Stephenson's pinch-hit single scored McLain, giving the Reds a 10-9 victory.
