El PP usa el Congreso para exigir las comparecencias previstas de Sánchez y cuatro ministros sobre Ceuta y otras crisis

The permanent session of the Congress of Deputies, a summer tradition, convened on Wednesday to affirm that the Congress has transformed into a political pressure ring, where the People's Party (PP) has demanded the appearance of the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, and four ministers, regarding the Ceuta crisis and other issues affecting the Executive, which were already scheduled and approved, overlapping with the nine already programmed.

The head of government will appear on September 3rd to present his account of the events in Ceuta during a monographic plenary session, which will be extraordinary despite the government's attempts to place it in a regular session a week later. The opposition of the PP, Vox, and the majority of the government's allies agreed that this presence arrives late in any case, and that the management carried out so far has not been adequate. The requests for appearances by the ministers were defeated.
