Drug Inspector Exam Paper Leak Uncovered; Love Affair Emerges As Key Angle, 6 Arrested

A love affair emerged as a key angle in the MPSC Drug Inspector examination paper leak case, which has led to the arrest of six individuals, including three MPSC officials. The accused are Vishweshwar Dattatray Nakate, Abhijit Ganpatrao Lendwe, Gopal Bhatu/Bhatt Marathe, Pravin Dilip Patil, Amrit Namdev Patil, and Lokesh alias Gaurav Rajendra Patil.

The case arose after confidential questions prepared for the Drug Inspector examination were allegedly leaked by MPSC Assistant Section Officer Vishweshwar Dattatray Nakate, who then shared them with others. The investigation revealed that the questions were obtained illegally before the test and used to create a separate question paper, which was then circulated.

Police suspect that Gaurav Rajendra Patil, who was in a relationship with Rutuja Patil, used the leaked questions to help Rutuja pass the examination. Once the relationship ended, Gaurav allegedly informed the MPSC about the leak, leading to the investigation by the Mumbai Crime Branch.
