Cape Coast faces 9% rise in extreme poverty by 2033
The Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly (CCMA) has said the number of residents living in extreme poverty in the area was projected to rise by about 9.09 percent, from 2,750 in 2021 to 3,500 by 2033 if stringent measures were not taken.
