Broncos OC Outlines Ambitious Plan for WR Jaylen Waddle

The Denver Broncos recently made a significant trade acquisition, bringing in former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle. As the team prepares for the 2026 NFL season, Waddle is set to become a crucial offensive asset for the Broncos. Known for his exceptional speed and versatility, Waddle can excel in various areas of the field.

During practice on Tuesday, Broncos offensive coordinator Davis Webb shared his vision for Waddle's role this season, expressing high expectations. "He's going to play everywhere. He's really really good," Webb affirmed, emphasizing Waddle's all-around abilities. However, Webb clarified that Waddle will not be lining up as an offensive lineman.

In his fifth and final season with Miami last year, Waddle showcased his talent by recording 64 catches for 910 yards and six touchdowns, providing a much-needed spark to the Dolphins' struggling offense. Now joining a formidable wide receiver corps in Denver that includes Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin, Waddle will have the opportunity to develop alongside fellow rookies and stars like Bo Nix, the team's star quarterback.

The Broncos' 2026 regular-season campaign kicks off with a high-stakes Week 1 Monday Night Football showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs on September 14.
