TheWrap had the opportunity to attend the July 13 live eviction taping for Season 28. In this episode, Haley Thogmartin strategically saved herself from elimination, while Barrett Pfeiffer and Chuk Anyanwu fought for survival in a 9-1 house vote.

Editor Julie Chen Moonves showcased her expertise by winning the night's challenge, "Newton's Apples," a game where contestants roll "apples" up a ramp to stop them at the top, then knock them down with smaller balls. During the live taping, 32 audience members watched the episode unfold on large screens, with Julie rehearsing her blocking between commercial breaks.

However, one audience member's presence inadvertently influenced the game, as his cheering could be heard by the contestants, potentially impacting their perception of the competition. TheWrap will return to the set on Thursday for the 1,000th episode special, interviewing as many alumni as the show allows.
