Bapa, anak maut terperangkap rumah terbakar

An early morning fire in a two-storey house in Kampung Tok Jembal, Kuala Nerus, Terengganu, tragically claimed the lives of a father and his nine-year-old son. The incident unfolded about 2:49 AM and was reported to Berita Harian by the local fire department. Azmi Omar, the head of the Kuala Nerus Fire Station, stated that they received an emergency call at that time, and the fire brigade arrived at the scene just nine minutes later.

Upon their arrival, they found a half-burnt two-storey house with 70% of its structure destroyed. Initial reports indicated that there were two casualties trapped inside - a man of adult age and a young boy, while a woman of adult age managed to escape the burning building. Firefighters reportedly used iron frames and ladders to extract the bodies, as the ladder inside the house became unusable due to the intensity of the flames.
