In the eighth inning, Ozzie Albies singled in the decisive run for the Atlanta Braves, leading them to a 4-3 victory against the Los Angeles Dodgers and ending the Dodgers' six-game winning streak. The matchup featured two first-place teams in the National League. After Atlanta took an early 3-0 lead against Tyler Glasnow, who was making his first big league start in 3 1/2 months, the game became a contest between the two club's top offenses.
