AI Agent Platform Runable Raises $21 Mn To Help Small Businesses Grow

AI agent platform Runable has recently secured $21 million in Series A funding to aid small businesses in their growth. The investment round was co-led by Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners, with existing investors Together Fund and Array VC also taking part. Runable's primary focus is to expand its customer acquisition and marketing tools, enhance campaign measurement, and enable its AI agent to automatically identify and fix campaign issues.

The company will also expand its Runable Academy, offering free training to business owners on building and scaling their ventures. Additional resources will be allocated to bolster engineering, machine learning, product, growth, and customer support teams. The funding follows a rapid launch, where Runable grew from zero to $2 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) within three weeks.

Currently, the platform boasts 1.5 million users and a team of 15 employees. Founded in 2025 by Umesh Kumar and Saksham Sarda, Runable offers an AI agent that assists small businesses in creating websites, mobile and internal applications, pitch decks, market analyses, prospect lists, marketing videos, databases, authentication systems, payment infrastructure, deployment, competitor and brand-sentiment tracking, customer support, search engine optimization, and answer engine optimization.

Kumar, the cofounder and CEO of Runable, previously co-founded edtech startup SkoolStream, which was acquired by Bodhi AI in March 2022. "Building software stopped being the hard part," Kumar stated. "Nobody starts a business because they want a landing page. They start it because they want customers and revenue. Software creation got automated.

Everything after it didn't. That's what Runable is for." Most of Runable's 1.5 million users are small business owners managing teams of around two people, primarily in the US, UK, Japan, and Brazil. The company's recent funding comes amid increasing investor enthusiasm for AI agents that automate business operations and software development.

Earlier this year, Emergent, an AI startup helping entrepreneurs and small businesses create software and websites without extensive technical knowledge, became India's third homegrown AI unicorn and the sixth unicorn of 2026 after raising $130 million in a Series C round. Sarvam, another AI startup, also joined the unicorn club this year after raising $234 million as part of a $300 million Series B round.
