22 Irish firms in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 list this year

This year, 22 Irish firms made it to Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 list, which ranks the fastest growing technology companies in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Belfast’s StormHarvester topped the Irish entries, securing the 24th position on the list. StormHarvester, a four-year-old business, developed an AI anomaly detection system that helps wastewater utilities predict and prevent issues like flooding and pollution. The company was named the fastest growing company in Ireland last year by Deloitte.

Other notable Irish companies on the list include Mail Metrics, Klearcom, Tines, and Aerlytix. The average revenue growth rate for all the 500 ranking companies across 24 countries was slightly higher than 1.024pc, while the Irish companies achieved an average of 1.016pc revenue growth. StormHarvester demonstrated a revenue growth rate of over 3pc.

Mail Metrics specializes in customer communications solutions for regulated sectors, while Klearcom provides global voice testing capabilities for organizations reliant on customer communication. Nick Keegan, the founder and CEO of Mail Metrics, expressed his delight at being recognized as one of the fastest growing technology companies for two consecutive years on the Deloitte EMEA Fast 500 list.

The ranking highlights the success of Irish entrepreneurs on a global stage and emphasizes the importance of domestic direct investment in the country's economy.
