WNBA’s Sky Ban Kanter Freedom From Arena Indefinitely

Chicago Sky owner Michael Alter announced Enes Kanter Freedom's indefinite ban from Wintrust Arena following an altercation with guard Natasha Cloud during Sunday's game. Alter stated that Kanter's purpose was to provoke and gain attention, and that he was "turned into a threat" by his behavior, including talking to Cloud and attempting to approach her.

Despite Freedom's claim that he was invited by the team, Alter revealed that the ticket for the game was purchased by a third party and given to him, who was not aware of his seating until arrival. Alter expressed regret for not informing the players of Freedom's attendance, but emphasized that he adhered to the team's policy of barring individuals who disrupt the game based on conduct.
