With Neymar? Santos name squad for first clash with Palmeiras

Santos has officially announced the squad for the first leg of the Copa do Brasil quarter-finals against Palmeiras, with Neymar as an option. The presence of the No. 10 among the available players was initially in doubt due to the synthetic pitch at Nubank Parque. However, Neymar has been called up, though his starting position remains uncertain.

Santos face another derby on Sunday (30), against Corinthians, which is considered the priority match due to the team's situation in the Brasileirão. It is expected that Neymar will play fewer minutes against Palmeiras in order to start in the league clash. The return leg against Palmeiras is scheduled for next Wednesday (2) at Vila Belmiro.

In addition to Neymar, another notable inclusion is Lucas Veríssimo, who had been out since sustaining an injury against Remo on August 1.
