United Community names head of international banking unit

United Community Banks has introduced a new head for its International Banking and Capital Markets division, appointing Jeff Beisler-Snell to the role. The new team, set to collaborate with the bank's Treasury Management division, will deliver services such as international payments, foreign exchange, trade services, and cross-border treasury support.

United Community reported total assets of $29.1 billion as of June 30, 2026, with a network of 200 offices spanning six southeastern states. Beisler-Snell brings over two decades of expertise in international banking, treasury management, foreign exchange, trade finance, and international payments. He holds advanced degrees in finance and industrial organizational psychology, along with professional certifications in treasury management and human resources.

United Community's President and Chief Banking Officer, Rich Bradshaw, emphasized the growing demand for international banking services among companies engaged in global partnerships, highlighting the strategic importance of this new unit.
