Turkey’s exports to OIC states reach $41.5 billion in seven months of 2026

In the first seven months of 2026, Turkey's exports to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) states reached a total of $41.5 billion, according to the Ministry of Trade. This represents a $345.7 million increase compared to the same period in the previous year. The overall foreign trade volume between Turkey and OIC countries rose by 2.2% over the same period, reaching $69.2 billion.

The Ministry of Trade attributes these positive results to the consistent implementation of its Strategy for Developing Exports with OIC Members, which is part of the 2026-2028 Medium Term Programme. This strategy aims to increase the share of OIC countries in Turkey's total exports from the current 27% to 30% by 2028.
