Tides of Annihilation Trailer Confirms Resident Evil Requiem Actress Angela Sant'Albano as New Voice of Gwendolyn

Tides of Annihilation has announced Angela Sant Albano, known for her role in Resident Evil Requiem, will voice Gwendolyn in the upcoming Arthurian action-RPG. This was revealed during gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 with a new trailer showcasing Sant Albano's interpretation of Gwendolyn. The trailer depicts a distraught Gwendolyn contemplating her new reality amidst ruins of a demolished London, before being inspired by Guinevere to utilize the power of the Fog to save London and the otherworldly realm of Avalon from devastation.

Gwendolyn dons the sword and learns to fight alongside spectral knights, including Sir Lancelot summoned by Gwendolyn for spectacular combat. Sant Albano, who previously voiced Grace Ashcroft in the ninth mainline Resident Evil installment, expressed deep honor at joining Gwendolyn, praising the heroine's self-doubt, love for her sister and homeland, and strength derived from these sentiments.

She will join the cast of another game generating excitement, with her role likely not surprising given previous announcements. Eclipse Glow Games revealed Tides of Annihilation will support Brazilian Portuguese, bringing supported languages to 11, and will have a hands-on demo at gamescom. The game, currently without a release date, is expected to launch for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and potentially other platforms.
